"Where can you find the ski workout exercises, tips and advice that will keep you enjoying your favorite sport for the rest of your life by drastically reducing your chance of injury?"

Dear Skier,
Let's face it… you and I have a problem.
We’re skiers.
I’ve been living with it for over 23 years. Maybe it’s been the same for you.
But don’t worry.
There’s really nothing wrong with spending the entire off-season moping around the house waiting for the first snow to come.
I know that's what I used to do every year.
When spring came around I'd hibernate because I hated to think that I might have to wait another 8 months to wiggle my feet into my boots, clop down the stairs at the lodge, snap into my bindings and hit the slopes with my newly waxed boards.
Man, what a sport!
But the older I got, the more difficult it was for me to wait those long months and then just pop on my skis and stay out on the mountain all day long.
(And as a personal trainer, I always thought I was in great shape!).
What I also noticed was that it wasn't just me that was starting to feel the aches and pains of being on skis for 10-20 years... I heard it from everyone.
Skiing is not an easy sport on the body!
What’s worse is…
I have heard many horror stories of seasons cut short because of injury... and worse... the stories of those who would never ski again. All because they didn't properly train before, during and after the ski season.
What a shame!
It didn't take long for me to realize that skiers like us needed a workout program that was geared toward our sport... not the same programs that those body builders used to get muscles that are all show, but no function!
Skiers Need to Wake Up!
As a skier you’re on your feet anywhere between 4-8 hours a day.
Marathon runners only spend 3-4 hours on theirs and they train for months… even years!
Why don’t skiers train for the season?
I don’t know the answer to this, but I know that if you start training properly for the sport that you do, you will dramatically reduce your chance of injury and allow yourself more time to ski for a long, long time.
So this is why we’re talking right now.
I Learned From the Some of The Best Trainers in the Country
Let me introduce myself…
My name is Kevin Gianni. I'm a personal trainer, author, and have been a skier for over 22 years.
Once I realized that skiers don’t train properly, myself included, I put together a program for me--something I could do to strengthen up for the season.
When it started to work for me and I was skiing longer and with less fatigue, I introduced it to my clients that ski.
They got the same results that I did. So I was certain I had something that would help all skiers before, during and after the season.
As a personal trainer and skier, it was my responsibility to spread the news of how to stop the disintegration of knees, legs, hips, and lower backs of my fellow skiers... or else I'd have no one left to ski with!
I’ve learned from some of the best sports trainers in the country and this program reflects that knowledge. |
