Support the Ban of Trans-Fats in Connecticut By Bringing A Simple Letter to Your Favorite Restaurant

You now have the fantastic opportunity to play a personal role in the statewide ban of trans-fats in Connecticut.
For this ban, we are not necessarily calling for legislation, we are calling for restaurant owners to take the matter into their own hands and tell Connecticut residents that they care about the health of their patrons.
Restaurant owners can do this by voluntarily removing artificial trans-fats from their kitchens.
The process is simple to do, because many manufacturers now supply food service companies with trans-fat free oils and products. It makes no sense that these toxic artificial fats are still in our foods.
To do your part and make a difference, all I ask is for you is to do these three simple things:
1. To click on this link (Click Here) and download the letter (In Microsoft Word Format) I recently sent to over 80 restaurants in Fairfield County, CT about how they can take action and make their restaurants a healthier place.
2. Print it out.
3. Bring it to your favorite restaurant and present it to the owner or manager.

Please let me tell you this... when you present this to the owner remember there is no place for anger and there is no place for blame. We are here to inform them and tell them that we love their food (just without the artificial fats!).
