Core Exercises: Side Bend

Side bends hit your obliques, which are the muscles in your waist.  You will increase your flexibility in no time doing this exercise.

  1. Stand with feet shoulder width apart and reach your hands up high above you.
  2. Bend in one direction as far as you can.  Breathe naturally.
  3. Come back up to start, then switch sides.
  4. Repeat.
