The Pushup is one of those universal exercises that you can use to supplement any workout.  We’ve given you the conventional form here and have included a few more so you can add some variety into your workout.  The pushup works your chest, arms and shoulders.

  1. Place your hands on the floor, shoulder width apart.
  2. Put your feet together.
  3. Inhale as you lower your upper body (Being sure you don’t dip your hips) until your chest can touch the floor.
  4. Exhale as you push yourself back.
  5. Repeat.
