Leg Exercises: Knee Taps

Knee Taps are great for warming up and getting your blood flowing.  They are also a great active stretch, which means that you are stretching while you are moving.

  1. Stand with your arms parallel to the floor.
  2. Run in place with your knees lifting just high enough to touch your hands.
  3. Make sure that your arms don’t drop to meet your knees.
  4. Every other tap is one repetition.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Breathe naturally.
